Meet Leigh, the founder....

Hey, !’m Leigh!,

With a passion for nurturing young minds, I bring over two decades of experience in education and leadership to our online courses and resources.

My journey began as a Cub Scout Leader with the Victorian Scout Association, where I spent 18 rewarding years guiding and inspiring young scouts. This experience ignited my love for teaching and mentoring, leading me to spend five years as a Primary School Classroom Teacher. Prior to teaching, I worked in after-school care, where I supported primary school students for four years, ensuring their educational needs were met beyond the classroom.

In addition to my Australian experience, I’ve had the privilege of working in American Summer Camps for three summers. There, I held leadership and management positions in both academic and leisure settings, further honing my skills in engaging and educating children in dynamic environments.

I am committed to bringing high-quality, interactive education right to your home. Connect and Express Education combines my diverse experiences and deep-rooted passion for education to create fun, engaging, and effective online learning experiences for kids and parents.
